Hi! I really wanted some help with some critiques on my portfolio. Please give me any critiques on any or all of my work. I do appreciate any input! I hope to keep this thread going for myself or anyone who wants critique on their work.

What do you feel like you could personally get better about looking back on your body of work right now?

    1) Cut down on the number of renders. Try combining images. I don't think anybody wants to see 4 separate renders of a shoes wireframe. The non wireframe images of the shoes could be done in just 2 images. One close up (closer than you are, try filling up more of the screen), and another image which has multiple angles in the same image. The shoes look excellent btw!

    2) The cannon is wicked! But once again, no need for 4 images of wireframe. Why don't you show off your UVs?

    3) The package looks good. I'm having a bit of trouble reading the grey material's definition.

    4) Relics of the Clone Wars is a bit boring to look at honestly. The camera is a bit far, so I can't really see if the gun looks really cool up close or not.

    5) I'd get rid of the Clone Trooper Helmet. It's no where near as strong as your shoes or cannon.

    6) The Gauntlet is done well but doesn't have any character to the project, didn't make me want to keep looking at it. You could probably not show this in your portfolio.

I'd maybe start making simple environments to show off your props, instead of just the renders on the grey background. Keep up the good work!

I would say I want to improve on making my portfolio more interesting. I'll probably do as @Ashervisalis suggested and create small environments to complement the props. Looking back at my work, my stuff is just there. There's nothing interesting about them. So for the next scene i'll definitely take into account your guys' input. Thank you both so much!!
