Sup y'all I can t figure this out, perhaps you guys can help... I created a chain, and did not UV the highlighted pieces before replicating them, theres about 30 of them. No matter how I UV them, I cant get the shells to stack perfectly on top of each other
Im using Maya 2018, and I've tried the following: Snap and stack, Match UV's, and Stack and Orient is there some other way?

are they all identical topology? if so look into mesh>transfer attributes>UV's

also, you can do it manually by marquee selecting the UV's that are close together and either using the align buttons or squish into place with the scale tool. It's tedious but honestly doesn't take very long so long as you can see the UV's which are out of alignment and know where they should be going.
