Face it, we're all noobs, when it comes right down to it. We're all learning as we go, and contributing to that is much appreciated.
@hansolocambo in a similar vein too Eric's reply, is that we're all here voluntarily learning from each other which is basically a never-ending quest anyway, regardless of status or skill level....so I would suggest thinking about reposting your original comment.
I can't speak for anyone else but as a HS modeler myself, I'd thought what you'd shared quite helpful because I'm always on the lookout for handy hints and tips relevant.too the discipline.
