I'm working on my demo reel (though its been a long while since i've been in school) as I got into Security as a safe job option during school and it has been helpful when my kid was young to get 3 days off, but now I want to get a job in the field that doesn't make be depressed every day.
So First character for my reel is a caricature version of myself in a similar style to Illumination studios. Since its been awhile, I am looking for some more reliable and solid advice than what you normally get on facebook (Its annoying to get likes, but not advice). Does it look like one of their characters? any advice on improving it technically?
I'm not sure it quite nails the same style, but honestly, I don't know that it needs to- I like that you have a style of your own going!
I think for something stylized as heavily as this, you might want to work more on your silhouette. Silhouette is a huge part of what gives stylized characters their "character" and I think it's a little odd for this figure. It's a little hard to tell without seeing him posed, but just looking at his body shape, I think his legs could use some re-working. Even if the idea is to get him to look really squarish and big, it might help to give him a taper down towards his legs rather than keeping his torso the same width throughout. You could always move his heels inwards to really emphasize that shape, making him really broad at the shoulders but having a very small "footprint."

The goal is to appear kinda humourously fat. Btw Thank you very much for your time to look and respond.
