Been working on this environment for 2 weeks now and I'm quiet stumped, not sure what to do and fix it doesn't look to good imo so any art gods out there drop some knowledge thanks c:

Having some lightning problems as well in my scene, if anyone knows how to fix it, it'd appreciate it :D

Not any kind of art god or knowledge dropper but from what i see:

-I'd say that the texture of your tree is off. Those touches of orange are really not fitting in. Also not feeling the nmap and not much variation from roughness. The trunk seems a bit forward, you can put some edge loops to come and deform it. Finally, not very integrated to the ground, maybe some moss, dirt,... on the bottom of the trunk would help a lot to make it feel alive.
-The barrier texture is not that interresting. Not sure what it is, maybe the tint but it seems really off. Also, how is the barrier holding together? You could add up some nails, ropes,... No ground integration here, put some dirt on the bottom of it!
-Your grass is sometimes oddly shaped. Try to have nice curves. Also, integration, more green on the soil, more dirt at the bottom so the two fit together. The transition is too sharp.

Try that and i'm sure it'll look better!

I would add a bend to the grass before baking it to the low poly. You can see where the edges and bends are in your low poly grass. Also, create a grass texture and paint that onto the area where the grass is, unless the camera will be exploring the grass Honey I Shrunk The Kids style.

Oh... I just realized its an an image of a dog's resting place... Damn.

Aside from the grass thing, it looks good.

Hey thanks for the feedback guys I appreciate it a lot!! I guess looking at it now the tree is pretty odd with the orange I'll fix up the tree and also the grass too! Might take me a bit of time but  thanks for the help again.

I tried posting my image without a link but it didn't work but I think it should work now!

I changed the lighting a bit it was too bright before now it doesn't look overexposed.

Thanks @smous @Ashervisalis for taking the time to give me feedback c:
    and Thanks! @Eric Chadwick

Can you post an image with lighting only? I think you need more bounce fill coming from the left of the frame. I'd also move that tree so that it's not right where the linear shapes of the fence converge. It's chopping the composition up and creating some uncomfortable tangents

Hey @jStins here's a render with just the lighting. I had no idea about tangents pretty interesting when I researched on it. I only have two lights in my scene right now a directional and a sky light. I used the tree to fill up the empty area I feel like I might need to get rid of it rather move it in this case. Thoughts? Thanks for the feedback as well it's nice to learn a bunch of stuff that I was unaware of! c:

I agree with jstins, the placement of the tree could be put somewhere else. Try maybe using the golden spiral or rule of thirds for the placement of the meshes in your scene?
