Hey there Anyone can tell me if mayas xgen hair (preview) can be rendered as actual tubes?
If not the preview, than how can we convert the preview to polygons with actual tubes (which includes tapering)
So i guess converting them into splines or so will loose the tapering...

to get rid of xnormals
i try to get different maps out of it via AOVs
like
"Z" (depth)
"N" (normals)
so the normals are wrong because it is all "flat"
