This is some characters and props I made at Forgotten Key for the project Down the Well, an adventure game where you play as Tay who is lost in an underground world inspired and inhabited by creatures from Scandinavian Folklore. Down the Well was one of the projects developed while I was at Forgotten Key, sadly they are shutting their doors and so I have gotten permission to post these. Also check out the art dump of the second project I worked on: Vind. Down the Well was a great project to work with and it's sad that it never got the chance to fully develop into a proper game. Hope you enjoy the art. You can download a pitch demo that is about half an hour long here: https://krumbukt.itch.io/down-the-well
Hey Tim, nice work! I specially like what you did with Tay's hair. It's just a watertight lowpoly baked from a Zbrush HP and using shiny roughness/specular maps, or did you do anything crazier on it?
@Justo It's a just a single baked mesh with anisotrophic reflectivity, nothing all that fancy. Will show more breakdown shots when I have finished rendering out those.
