Can't wait for this one. You ever rig these? Might be fun to make some cute animations just to bring them to life. Even something very simple like have her chewing chud and flipping tail would be nice.

@jaciedraws The most honest "advice" I can give you is: try different tools, as the choice may vary for each individual and may depend on other factors such as need for a specific task, personal taste or availability. But if you're learning, I think "feeling more comfortable" is a good start.

I appreciate the pointers a lot, thank you!
I was also curious about what you work in. Right now I use Maya, but your stuff doesn't look quite like Maya (although it's close). I'm satisfied with Maya but eager to explore other programs to see if I can find something that suits me more.
Brilliant move to sketch out the topology over the model - I'm going to have to start doing that from now on.
