Hey, I've changed the direction I'm going with my artwork. While I still wish to do studies regularly, I no longer feel like this site is a good fit for my art. I also find it harder then I thought I would to keep this up. I'm not posting regularly and commenting on others sketchbooks like I wanted too. I think forums just don't work for me like they did in the past.
I'll still be around the forums to learn and comment on things, just not posting my own art.
Thank you to those of you that helped me while i was here, and good luck on all your journeys! 😊

I really like the face sketches you posted, you're using lovely colours for the skin and hair of your characters. The rocks/cliffs definitely look better with the secondary light source! I think another way to improve them would be to have the edge highlight be the same colour as the secondary light on the cliffs. For example, the left bottom rock is lit with this awesome blue/green glow, but the very edge of it is highlighted with white - maybe it would look better if that edge was highlighted with the same blue/green, since the source of both the edge highlight and the glow are presumably the same light?
Also very interested to see if you develop the sketch with the lady above the water. That would be a great place to incorporate those rock/cliff designs you're working on
I really like the black and white character portrait, I think the values in it are great and the face looks like it has real volume. The only thing that jumps out at me is that maybe the shoulder needs to be a bit darker - it seems just a bit flat compared to the rest of the portrait at the moment. Great work otherwise though! The image above it is lovely too, I really dig the mix of cool and warm tones, it gives the scene a very nice atmosphere.
Cool that you joined the 100 Heads Challenge! It seemed too intimidating to me, so you're braver than I am
