Colt 45 revolver

I wanted to go back through some of my older stuff instead of making new things, to boost my weaker portfolio pieces. The first thing I decided to do was this revolver I made a while back. I wanted to get some critiques, opinions, things a did right or wrong, for this newer version. I'll post the older version in the comment below as a reference point as well.

They both look good. I am not sure one is better than the other. The newer one looks like its been buried underground in a box for a decade.

On the forward facing part of the cylinder, shouldn't we see the tips of the cartridges?
