[UE4] Relic of Madagascar

Hi all,
First time posting here. I'm a 3D Artist looking for critique on an environment I made over a couple few weeks for a class this past semester. Used Zbrush, Maya, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and in Unreal Engine. 
Plants are hand painted as well.


Would really appreciate any comments!

    Good job, its a pretty solid start! However, I did notice that your scene lacks contrast in the sense that I almost didn't see the statue, everything blends in too much together. I would recommend making the statue the main focal point and making it stand out from the rest of the scene. I barely noticed the little river which is suffering from the same issue, make it stand out, contrast with the scene.

    How are the plants growing on the statue? How are they attached, where are the roots/vines? There are places where it looks like the leafs are clipping through the statue.

    Lighting needs work as well, its looking quite flat. Try playing around with volumetric lighting to get some nice light shafts. Are you using Lightmass or Dynamic Lighting?
