How to contact the owner of a concept art to seek permission if the owner is not responding?

Hello.

I'm not sure if it's appropriate to ask here. I saw this amazing concept art by Dylan Cole:

and really wanted to recreate this scene in Unreal Engine. So to seek permission, I contacted Mr. Cole through the contact details he provided in his website:

I sent a message two months ago both through email and Facebook, but did not receive a reply or a "seen by." So after a few weeks, I sent another message to follow up, both through email and Facebook again; however, I still did not receive a reply. Given his portfolio and involvement in a lot of well known movies, he seems to be a very busy person indeed.

I was wondering if you guys know what I should do next.

    If you can't contact them, just take a page from all the other fan art makers out there... make it, and credit the original inspiration.

    Just use it as portfolio material. No harm in that. Think of all the Disney- or Nintendo- or etc.-inspired 3d pieces out there. As long as you provide credit where due, and never try to sell the assets or images you make based on it, you're in OK territory.
