As a Technical Artist at Basemark, your ingenuity, expertise, and thirst for knowledge will play an important role in getting us there. We offer: A team of curious and motivated graphics experts in a global business (operations in the US & Europe) who are passionate about what they do A friendly environment with flexible (and sensible!) working hours Awesome benefits and goodies Real career advancement opportunities Projects and customers that will rock your world And much, much more We require: 3+ years professional game development experience in a Technical Artist role Proficient in all areas of game asset creation (model, UV, texture, light, VFX, UI, concept design, etc) Shipped at least one game title, from pre-production to final release A strong portfolio demonstrating modeling, texturing, lighting and shading for games A strong working knowledge of modern game art tools (Unity, Unreal, Maya, 3ds Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) Working knowledge of real-time rendering tools and techniques A positive team-oriented attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to accept critique of your work and embrace change We appreciate: Working knowledge of Perforce (or source control equivalent) Comfortable iterating on ideas using rapid prototyping techniques Understanding of modular workflow Knowledge of JavaScript Working knowledge in creating efficient real-time shaders Does this pique your interest?
