What books 3d artist should read about lightning and anatomy?
One of my weaknesses is light in scenes and I heard that there are good standards and techniques. Are there good books about it?
I also wanted to try myself in character creation, what good books can I read about anatomy? However I heard books that aiming at 3d artist are not good for some reason.
Please help.

I personally recommend Figure Drawing For All It's Worth by Andrew Loomis. Something tells me you knowing where muscles insert and originate will help you a lot less than knowing what bony landmarks or medium forms are on the human body.
Was kindly referred too by a friend, since my technical lighting knowledge as a hardsurface modeller is less than stellar, well non existent really... : /
Digital Lighting & Rendering: Third Edition by Jeremy Birn
...and some top picks by Scott Eaton, an artistic idol of mine.
