Quixel for mac.

Hi.
I have just downloaded Quixel for mac on my MacBook and just have a black square in the work area.
Drag and drop doesn't seem to do anything with the assets that open in the layers workspace to the right.
Should I see some thing at this point on the tile ?
Wondering if my graphics card just isn't up to the job as I can't open Keyshot on my MacBook.
Sorry for such a basic didlo question but since two kids have stolen my life just wanted to see if anyone could throw up an answer before I spend what little time I have trying to google the shit out of it.
Guess my actual question is is the image below what I should be seeing on start up ?
Ill load it up on my station at work on monday and see if its the same.
