Hello dear community

I'm new to Maya, and I'm following a tutorial about "Maya Tilling setup" and the planes that has been created perfectly adds to UV Editor in the tutorial:

But when I duplicate(via Edit Mesh > Duplicate) the plane, It does not show in UV Editor! What should I do?:

Also when I want to move the new planes by Snapping (Hold "X") it does not perfectly snap and there will be a gap between these two planes! :

I don't know if it's related or not, In grid option I set "Length and Width" to 1000.0000 Units AND

"Grid Lines Every" to 100.000 Units :

Thank You so much for help.

For the tiling UV thing, I don't think I've seen Maya automatically offset UVs the way you describe. The typical way to move shells is in the UV toolkit; there are buttons in the UI to move them. Setting the value there to 1.0 is what you want.

For your grid snapping problem, your scene grid is fine, but the pivot handle for your selection isn't in the right place*. You can press D to enter/exit pivot editing mode. For your plane, hold V and click on a corner vertex. Now it will snap to the grid in the way that you want.
