Due to heavy demand from our global customers in the premium car market, we are growing our elite team of technical and visual designers, UX designers, and creative software engineers who provide our customers with advanced prototypes, custom software products, and technology demonstrators. This fast-paced team operates at the intersection of visual and interaction design, cutting-edge technology, and our customers' products, often dealing with multiple ongoing projects and demanding deadlines. Our KDS team is a central contributor to the success of our customers, leading training, advising on project implementation and optimization, and providing on-site plus remote support and consulting. This team of experts helps our customers bring the best automotive user experiences to market! 

Position

As Technical Designer, your main focus is to implement user interfaces in support of our leading customers. Together with our project teams, you play a significant role in building world-class embedded UIs. Examples of your work areas are real-time 3D content and UI models. You will create UI concepts and demonstrators to help win customer cases. You will also help to improve Kanzi by creating content such as factory content, tutorials, and examples for our product documentation. You are a key player on a versatile team with software engineers, artists, and other technical designers. 

Who are you?

You are a Technical Designer working with game engines and real-time 3D. You are a creative person with excellent problem solving skills, and you know how to work between engineers and designers, how best to coach them on content creation. Applying knowledge across disciplines comes naturally. You are either a seasoned expert or a young rising star: the exact job will be tailored to you based on your experience. 

  

We require

- Generalist experience with creating content using professional-grade 3D and 2D content creation tools. 

- Understanding of real-time 3D pipeline and rendering 

- Fluent with hierarchical tools for scene graphs and trees 

- Game engine experience 

- Proactive attitude and achievement orientation 

  

We appreciate

- Shader programming 

- Scripting and programming experience 

- Visual design skills 

- Concepting, prototyping, blockout modeling 

- UVing and texturing, effects and particle systems
