3ds max 2015 set project folder not expanding drive letter

i have an issue where in 3ds max when setting the project folder through max it wont expand to see the other folders in one particular work folder, i an not sure if i have ever seen this before, any ideas why is this? see the attached, work 3 folder is packed with other folder but 3ds max wont expand them like it used to

anything more detailed? max will expand other drive folder and folder inside the work3 folder but not the work3 folder itself

hey I luv all lowercase too how did u know

look into your partitions settings. how did you create them? they are all named the same, this could indicate other issues with unorthodox drive mappings, which could cause windows in general to get confused.

hmm, they all have different names and they are all just drives i was using from before, this recently started when i now installed a new version of windows 7

i forgot also to add this is only with 3ds max 2015

Can you make a shortcut on your Desktop to the desired folder, then click that in Max? Essentially forcing it.

well its easy to just copy the folder path each time, i resetted max my deleting the enu folder which was one suggestion and max returned to normal but after loading my custome ui scheme with plugins it went back to the same so i think it might be a particular plugin at fault

@Eric Chadwick As much I respect you as the admin over the years and being helpful and nice... that title change isn't making the member MITVIZ look good. So in my honest opinion, I think that wasn't necessary though.

Just a normal title change, and that's it, will you?
