I am following a tutorial and have to bake my zbrush high poly onto my maya low poly pillar. I'm not getting the expected results. My high poly is projected on one side of the low poly and I can't figure out why it is doing so. Here is how it looks in Substance painter
and here are the UVs of the low poly mesh
If anyone has had a similar problem and knows what causes it, please tell me what am I doing wrong.

It's probably in a different position to the low res mesh.
Get them both in maya and check.

Also.. Zbrush layers can mess positions up so maybe collapse them before export

Thank you very much! It was exactly as you suggested - my high poly was at the center of the grid, but the low poly was not. I am so relieved that my work hasn't gone to waste. You're a great person, Poopipe! :)
