AUGRAY is an Augmented Reality company based in USA and India. We are looking for freelancers / teams and outsourcing companies around the world for developing 3D assets (Only attires) to character for our applications.  

We have developed two apps,

        1. "TaDa Time", the AR messenger App

Our Workflow/Pipelines :

  • HighPoly - LowPoly - UV Unwrapping - Texturing - Unity3D conversion.


High Poly Model:

  • High poly model is required in terms of getting the details of assets through the normal map.

  • Zbrush used to creating high poly models and generate normal maps. High poly models will not be directly used in the application.

  • Highpoly using the ZBrush and Marvelous Designer.

  • No polycount limit.


Low Poly Model:

  • Low poly model is used to represent as avatar for our application. It will be textured, rigged and animated.

  • Polycount around 5000 Tris. It could vary based on the needs.

  • It should not have holes, 5 side poly (Pentagon), and Reversed normal.

  • Base Low poly body mesh (Avatar) will be provided to create attires.

  • Lowpoly can be developed using the Maya.


Texturing:

  • Diffuse, Normal and specular maps are majorly mapped in our workflow. As BPR shader is not used, rest of texture maps have not been involved as of now.

  • Texture would be created as 2K. Later it will be reduced to 512 x 512.

  • 2K texture will be applied irrespective of app promotion videos.

  • File formats are .png 24 (Alpha) and .jpg. Alpha map is not added as separate channel or texture.

  • Texturing is being created using Photoshop and Substance Painter .


Shaders:

  • We have customized shaders and use standard Unity3D shaders.


Mobile Game engine:

  • Unity3D
