Hey guys, I'm currently modelling a Tommy gun and wanted this highlighted detail baked onto the low poly on the right:

But this is the result I get once baked:

I'm guessing I should have just bevelled this detail on the highpoly rather than modeling the void via boolean? I'm thinking the projection is capturing the open area and not just the edge that I wanted. Is there anyway around this without going back to the HP?? I'm not sure if it will really be seen anyway because it will end up an object through it like this:

What do you guys think? Should I just keep it? Thanks heaps in advance.

Solved the problem fairly quickly. Went back to the HP and selected the voided area, detached as a clone and gave it some thickness with some loops and some adjustments and baked it as two separate parts to the same LP.

    Result
