Substance Painter 2 Symmetry/Texture Set Issue

So I brought in my low poly model and before I started to paint I turned on the symmetry plane and noticed it was off. Well After a few minutes of google searching the only solution I could find was to make a simple cube in my 3D package (Maya), export it WITH my low poly model and hide it once I load it into SP. Well I got that working. Great.

But...

Once I go into IRay to preview my render, there's a big cube there that I cannot seem to delete. Does anyone else know of a solution or have this issue? Initially, my issue is the symmetry, but after circumventing that, I ran into another one, both of which Substance reps on different forums promised us would be added features within the last two years of updates...
