So here goes nothing,
as part of my bachelor thesis I decided I wanted to create a game environment in UE4 from scratch, with little prior knowledge. I started getting into 3D about two years ago, but even tho my study claims to be games centered, everything you see comes down to self study and trial and error. I used to work alongside other people on team projects where I had the chance to work with Unreal Engine for the first time. Nonetheless I decided that for MY bachelor thesis it was time to be my own art-director for once and visualize an idea that has been whirring around my brain for quite some time.
And what a ride it has been. As so often the case, I learned a ton and even though I had to wrap it up, due to having a time constraint, I am quite happy with the result.
Comments and critique are very much welcome. Keep in mind though, that this is pretty much a prototype or an advanced WIP if you will..

I feel overall it's too dark. It's hard to tell what is happening where.
If you can lit up the scene a little bit so I can see more of the scene will be great.
Right now almost 50% of the scene is dark.
See as the dome is lighting well. LIke that you can have light/lamps around and bounce-back light on the walls and other dark places.
the scene will be more visible.
Hope it would help.
Best,
