Hello guys
I'm currently trying to model a little scene for my portfolio and I came up with this idea.
My intention is to create a scene that would look HD but with the least possible polygons I could use to achieve it (aimed at game design). The only part I intended to bake was going to be the floor but even that I am thinking to keep as it is because It isn't too heavy after all.
I'm not very experienced and would like your opinions about it.
-What do you guys think of the scene?
-Is it too heavy on poly?
-What about the UV unwrap, I used lots of mirroring technique, is that good or bad? Should I spread them individually?
-I have divided the scene in 3 UV Maps, is that too much? should it all be in one (which would significantly reduce the resolution of the final texture)
The problem with mirroring the UV is that I get lots of shadows that does not belong, but I think I can work it in a way that suits the final result... but that is too much trial and error to be worth playing with.
Don't hold back guys, please be honest when criticising it. I need to get better at this
Thanks
