Is this possible?

Hello all,

I was wondering if this was possible: I want to create a nice wood sculpt in ZBrush, use that as a normal map, then paint the low poly in Painter... Is there a process where I can darken (or paint) the 'cracks, dings, crevasses' in Painter?

Maybe use the normal map to tell a generator where to paint?

Basically I was thinking about creating my own 'texture' in ZBrush then using Painter to paint colors - but unless I can get those details in the cracks and such, it might not look very good. And in turn, might be a waste of time doing all the details in ZBrush if I can't understand Painter aha.

I very new to Painter (and modelling in general) - but hopefully I used the correct words!

Thanks for any help in advance!
