Scenary - Ancient Alien Ruins

Hello everyone. My name is Mau Vasconcellos, and this is my very first post in this particular community.I am a traditional artist and writer, who has been working on a couple of sci-fi/fantasy novels for over a decade.
For my first post today, I am bringing the whole process about creating one of the many illustrations for these books. In this case, we have a panoramic view of an ancient alien city, abandoned for centuries on the coast of a jungle planet. I have modeled the 3D maquette first, then drawn based on the shaded 3D render. The whole process took me around a month to complete. Drawing done over a Cansom A3 paper, while using ballpoint BIC pens and pencils.
