Hi guys, I have to model this thing, at the start I thought, ohh yeah it`s easy, but actually is not I really don`t know how start with this part. Have you some suggest ? Thx guys
this post pretty much applies here as well. find the big shapes first, subdivide, cut out the secondary shapes. if needed subdivide again, do the same with the tertiary shapes and so on. think about how a piece was actually built in the design phase. nowadays its a lot of CAD, but think of how you would do it in clay like back in the days. basically you always start with the big shapes, then carve away from there.
i actually meant that the reply my link is referring to also applies to your issue. there is no 100% guide on how to tackle each shape in the known universe, you need to learn how to disect model and then you can model pretty much anything.
