So I started on another piece. An idea that popped into my head while browsing for inspiration. It's a shitty & gritty motel. I'm about half way done with it at the moment. Lot of pieces still to go.
This looks pretty good dude! My two cents would be: the rain on the parking lot seems too reflective overall. It almost looks like the lines and the can are floating on water, and second i would say the lamps inside are a bit too saturated. they don't look very realistic and kind of clash with the drab feeling of the rest of the scene. Keep up the good work though!
I think the parking lot would make sense if it was pouring rain. It would also be a good excuse to get some cool rain effects in. I think they might be most effective if it was too expensive for today's consoles, which is to say forward lit particle mode with shadowing, refraction, and motion blur, but it could come out looking great.
Alternatively you could turn the water down on the parking lot to just a vague wet sheen. Maybe put in a bit of volumetric fog?
super sick, love it. I think you could break up the puddle density / reflection intensity a bit more on the ground so its less uniform but otherwise its dope.

Update on the exterior, Motel sign is just a placeholder for the moment.
Here's the final image of the scene, you can check out the rest here:
