WIP - Sci Fi Armor - Looking for Feedback

I am working on this armor and it's still an early wip. I'm going for an authoritarian police officer feel.

What could I improve and change to make this better? I'm open to all ideas.

I should note that I'm thinking about turning this into a 32mm model once it's done and posed.

I feel like you should pay more attention to the silhouette of your character/armour. The pieces also look quite similar to each other.
