Hello, I am currently working on an environment art piece. This is an lantern i modeled in Maya and textured in Substance Painter. Rendered in Arnold, but this will be going into Unreal or might render out the scene in Maya, using Arnold. Any feedback is accepted, I do take critiques very well even if they are harsh. (Only way to become better artist, right!?)
Great work! I agree with Marco and I think it will be good to add more variation of the color on it. One thing I think you can also do is to make some variation of the roughness on the metal to avoid the flatness. Keep pushing yourself on the texture more. Good luck
