You ever thought about using Unreal or UNity? You'll get more punch out of it if you're trying to do it for free. lack of GI among other elements is standing out.
The floor boards look too large, they're throwing off the proportions of the room. I feel your strong point is the colours flow together really well, but all of your props are pretty simple. For your next project, I'd create one single prop and try to make it look as great as possible. Create a semi-complex prop, pay attention to proportions and way it would be made in real life, and try creating the textures from scratch.
