Hi guys, now I can't get any full time work in studio, I want create new art work but I dont know what need to do my portfolio better. Please give me some advice's. Thanks
SEGA Genesis Controller and console should be just one piece. Two separate pages = two times the clicks. Also, IMO, the presentation is boring.
A black console against a black background makes the entire thing look mono. Why not present the console in its natural habitat? Model the game cartridges, throw in the CRT TV's maybe include some game magazines scattered about?
The forgotten city environment has a lot of amateur mistakes. The grass and plants growing out of the pavement is not very convincing. Get more references, plants require a small crack for the roots to connect with the dirt and not the asphalt.
Lighting as well needs to be heavily improved. it looks like it's using the sun only. Introduce a skylight to get at least an additional bounce of blue light in the sky. Shadows are never black in daytime. They match what their environments look like.
Is the BMX bike rendered in 3DS Max or a Game Engine? There's no point in pre-rendering it if it's suppose to be low poly/for a game.
The Kerrie Zulu prop doesn't accurately match the reference. Show more breakdowns of how you got to those final steps. Show the high poly model and the low poly models if this is for games. Same with texture breakdowns.
Also, in regards to job hunting, still make the improvements I listed in the above, but also, you'll get more success if you target your portfolio specifically for a studio you have in mind. The SEGA Genesis and Zulu Weapon are still cool things, but say you apply for Blizzard or Activision, you stand a chance at being overshadowed by a guy whose portfolio consists entirely of Call of Duty or Overwatch Art.
I like your stuff, the environment looks cool but the textures on the buildings are really unrealistic but you are not alone i am not gating any job as well

I know about textures, this is my old work and I know all the mistakes in it. But I think its good if you show you progress.
