Hello everyone !
Been a dry spell for my portfolio lately so I decided to start doing little projects that focus on a single software that I'd like to learn more.
Starting with 3ds Max, I decided to model a guitar, because I had one at hand so I felt it would be easy to get detailed refs.
Anyway, whilst texturing it, and playing around with masks, I accidentally got a cell-shaded effect, so I decided to go all in and make a CL4P-TP skin, so here it is

I could definitely do a better job at UVing, the textures are 4k and it's not nearly as detailed as 4k should be on a single asset.

Why is an electric guitar on a blanket in a field somewhere ?
I don't know.
I thought it would be cool to add a light function to fake some tree shadows, and it just went from there, though now it seems out of place.
I would really appreciate some tips for presentation (as well as any other critique, obviously), because I've never done single-asset presentation well.

I might rebake it after fixing the UVs before posting on artstation, and change the presentation if some advice pops up.

Also, an offtopic question, is it rude to only post/comment on my own stuff on polycount ?
I absolutely love this community, and I feel really guilty for not participating in it more actively, I just feel it's really time consuming, and that I don't really qualify to comment on everyone else's work when I'm barely starting on my own, so please, let me know what you think about this.

Thanks for stopping by !
