Choppy Bake

Hello I'm new to substance and working on a prop for practice I ran into an issue with my first bake attempts. A few issues I need to work out but the main one being some odd choppiness around all the edges, only thread I found online said "2.5 has bake errors" which isn't helpful xD my version is 2.4.1, is there a solution or do I need a new version?

I would advise updating to the latest available release for your license (2.6.2 in your case).

Gave the new version a shot, while better it's still choppy.

Looks like your UV is not that good laid out. Try research more on how to unwrap a mesh, in this case it should be unwrapped in a long strip of UV shells.

Realized that I was working on an older version of the belt x.x But thanks Revel I'll check out some tuts on a straightened uvw for the strap then some texture.

Much better, but still can be improve! Just think it like this, your texture is basically just a grid of pixels, so when your UV is bending, you'll get aliasing, but if you straighten your UV, it'll be align with the pixel grid (doesn't really have to snap to pixel though!) and won't have that stair-stepping issue that you saw on your previous screenshot. Pixel don't bend
