Hey folks!

This problem seems somehow embarrassing,
but i never faced this situation once.

As mentioned i have 2 Monitors and 2 graphic-cards
- SyncMaster       -->  Intel HD 630 (on-board)
- Phillips 220VW  -- > GTX 1060

yesterday i started marvelous designer and it prompted that the pc was using the on-board card which leads to "less performance etc"
i was baffled, i thoht it was some how a missconfiguration under
"Nvidia control panel" so i reseted the settings, but it did not worked out.

I started Substance Painter and it also prompted out that i was using the onboard card ....

The GTX driver is also up to date.

I dont know how to force the computer to use the gtx as my "main graphic card"

PS:
i use both cards because the "Phillips 220VW" has an old interface compatible with the slot of the onboard card.

Is it better to disable the on-bord card anyway? Or are there some benefits to have 2 cards active at the same time?!

-------------------------

EDIT:

ok i found out how to bypassbut not solve the problem...

When using 2 cards and 2 monitors in the screen settings:

notice that display "1" has checked the "set as main display"-option!

go to "advanced display(?) [Erweiterte Anzeigeeinstellung]" then you see this:

The coputer registers the graphiccard as the main-graphiccard depending on which display is your main-display,
so this means, when i set display 2 as maindisplay my main-graficcard would be the intel and not the nvidia again....

...i know right? what the hell windows? :D
