Professionally I am a clinical genetics scientist but I have a passion for video game development. I will be using this thread to post work I have been doing of a friend's character.
1.) The face - getting a feel for the silhouette of the hair - friend asked to make her a bit older. "More matronly," she said.

2.) Now that the shape was what I wanted, I start to block out the body of the hair - I'll add the braid later

3.) Giving a little age to her face (not much just yet)

4.) Blocking out the coat

5.) Decided this was a good project to learn Marvelous Designer - that thing sure eats up resources like candy

6.) Carving out wrinkles in the jacket by hand
