Hi, Im making some decoration for a texture, and I want it to be full substance designer(no Zbrush nor 3rd party software) and I have this shape
I'm still buildint the heightmap I want to make it gradient-y (not flat) so the sides marked in red should be the start of the gradient (white), the blue-marked curved side the end of it (black)
but the thing is...I'm having a really hard time blending gradients, I never get then clean result.
The tricky part is that it isn just a directional flat gradient, but it has a curve along the red line, so at the bottom, yes, i could use a regular ol' linear gradient, but as it goes up it curves until its vertical. How can i do that keeping control?
I would appreciate some advice from the wise magicians that populate this forum.

You could probably get some useful information off the shapes you used to construct the final shape.
A distance applied to the shape that forms the red edge masked by the final shape is probably a good starting point
It amazes me that SD still has no way of doing this kind of thing, some kind of gradient along a spline or similar.
