Hello guys :)

Maybe some one trying any kind of ring flashes (w/w.o polarization filters) for PBR texture scanning?

My idea is:
1 - taking a lot more pictures for covering commonly 2x2 meters of surface rather than on "traditional photogrammetry" process.
2 take pictures with less resolution rather than "traditional photogrammetry" cause all pictures would have close enougth details, and we make more shoots per meter.

Why not traditional way? -> i dont own any photo equipment, so i will rent some stuff and that not really cheap especially considering the fact what we can shoot outdoor only on certain amount of time and only in shadows/with proper weather. Im also will have to move around all city (the BIG one) to shoot everything what i want. Finding proper location are also not easy.

Also im have an idea about some kind of "covering soft box". Imagine some box. One side of box are opened, opposite side have hole for camera. Inside walls are reflective and have inlet for lighing. Probably 50x50cm will be okay.
I know what for best results light should be polarized, but thats just a basic idea.

So what you think guys? Any opinions?
