Trying to get better at Hardsurface. My latest exercise: 
Done with Fusion 360, textured in substance painter and rendered with Blender cycles.

    Hello pascalmwiemers!!Well, nice job with the high poly model. There are things that could be improved but well, it looks fine to me. On the other hand, those textures are too homogeneous and don´t look interesting. They need a lot more work. The only thing I see is the material set up and a wearing mask to damage the metal borders.... and nothing more. Where are the damages? How did time affected this weapon? How it was used, stored,treated...? Try to gather some real references this kind of things.
