hey guys, I've been doing a bit of research trying to wrap my head around good joint orientation while rigging. I checked the wiki, and I've done some googling, but I'm still not clear on a few things:
What exactly would be good joint orientation for say, a knee joint? I understand that x needs to point down the joint chain, but then I get a bit lost.
Is it only important for all the joints to be oriented the same way?
What about the other leg?
If someone knows of a good video explaining it or something I'd really appreciate it.
