How much scaling is too much?

Generally speaking, when establishing scale in your scene for Unreal Engine 4, how much scaling is too much for the Megascans assets? For the rocks in general? When I import a rock asset (or any asset) the scale is set to 1. How much scaling is too much? I’m worried I might lose detail if I scale too high.

    Scaling anything in general will throw off the texel density, and you want to avoid it as much as you can manage. I don't think there's any hard rule on how much is too much. The more you scale it, the worse it gets.
    As long as the effect isn't too noticeable, and you aren't abusing it (like scaling everything).

    For things like rocks, people usually just mash multiple rocks together instead of scaling them a bunch.
