Its been so long, I forgot how to do decent interior lighting. Can anyone tell me how to improve the lighting in this scene?

If you're happy with the placement of your light fixtures, start with a base level ambient (Skylight, etc. Guessing you have one already? Knock it down way lower) and then start matching your source sizes and shapes:



You can always go back and adjust where your lights and emissive panels are, if you want to highlight certain things or areas.

Then to get a more interesting look, find some good reference and go from there

• Overhead lighting shuttle bay ref
• ref with some blue lights
• ref with a slight blorange scheme, the warm of-white tone instead of neutral white is nice and "retro" feeling

The only lighingI have are on the walls....the ones near the main door are the windows....I guess I should make them look more like windows.
