Hi friends!
Decided to expand my 3D skill set and delve into some environment modeling as I have primarily done character models.
I went with an isometric piece because I love the style of isometric art. I'm planning to sculpt the pieces in ZBrush once i'm comfortable with the block out. My goal is to create an environment that you might see in a game such as Civ where the polycount might be a little higher.
Again, this is my first go around with an environment piece and would love all the feedback anyone might have!

Bakes done~ On to texturing.
I'm pretty happy with how everything has turned out so far. There are some texture colour tweaks that I still need to work out.
Rendering the piece in Marmoset Toolbag 3 as well. I'm not to big of a fan of the shadows and lack of contact shadows that the lighting in this program has. But maybe i'm just lighting it wrong. Would love any tips in that department!
So here's the final render and I think I'm going to call it done. Had a lot of fun in Substance Painter and made some procedural grass in Substance Designer to boot.
