Hello Polycount!! This is the first time I post here. I´m trying to push up my 3D models, now I´m developing a 40/50 years old male. Here I will update my process and I would like to receive any comments or critics to help me to become a better 3D artist. I hope to learn a lot of interesting techniques, thanks!
A vid below that might help with the harsh shadows around the muscles (unless that's what you're going for. Might look comicbook'y when refined further) VidLink
I think youre off to a solid start, next time you sit down and work on the hands, pay attention to the crease lines in the fingers, its actually a couple lines per finger and they have a slight curve to them. Generally speakin there is no such thing as straight lines in the body
Thanks for the comments guys, here I upload a new update. I´ve worked in torso, hand and foot. --To do list-- - Keep working on the sole (foot). - Remove symmetry (body and face). - Maybe thinner arms? - Add details.
