Bad Ambient Occlusion ( Maya / xnormal)

I have tried to map the ambient occlusion of a legging in xnormal and maya, but in both programs the details of the clothes do not appear and it gets very bad, always smooth and very white, someone knows what to do for the details to appear strong in the image of the ambient occlusion?

is that cloth double sided by any chance? i mean does it have thickness? if so, in zbrush go into the display properties of your tool and turn it to doublesided, you should see the issue instantly

This model is only one side, but even putting two sides, nothing changes in Ambient Occlusion, I have tested, but nothing has changed

no my assumption was that you have an inside clipping through, if you turned your model double sided in zbrush you would see that error instantly

as you say its not the case, is your raydistance/cage maybe too long in that area and catching info from the opposite side?

I have no problem with the clothes (the object), my problem is with the bake, the ambient occlusion of the same has few details and depth, I wish it were stronger, I tried to change some settings in the bake, but nothing, I would not like change the object, just some setting that let the bake deeper, stronger

wait... your problem is not the black area in the crotch, but about how weak the AO is? sorry i followed mostly the pictures and that was the most glaring issue

well what would you expect? your model is pretty flat, how should there be more AO?
But  you could actually do a directional AO, by either turning that option on inside marmoset, or creating a plane underneath the object that casts AO or the quickest route, also bake a worldspace normalmap, grab the green channel out of it and multiply that on top of your AO.

Actually the AO does not show a fold if it wants, my scene object is not as smooth as it, I can not let the details here because it is a legging, it would be strange a legging with super thick detail. The detail of the groin corrected easily in photoshop, I just wanted a "shadow" map that left the details stronger, made an action, showing the fold with darker lines below it, anyway, I think I'll have to create a high 2 and in it leave the marks very strong then take the bake adjust in the low. Anyway, grateful!
