Hello to everyone, id like to share a problem that i encountered in hopes that someone will help me figure it out.
Its really strange and its the first time I get this.I made a character for a game and had the animator rigg it so I can do a pose and a render. He did the rigg in Maya and im using max.He gave me back the character in .fbx when he was done and after posing it I noticed this weird glitching in the shading. I think its a normals problem. Now I could easily fix the glitch by meshsmoothing or reseting/unifying/flipping normals and setting new smoothing groups however after i do that the normal seams become visible when rendering in any software(tried both max and Marmoset, same problem occurs).
Ive attached images, its really weird and I didnt find a solution on the internet. If anyone has any ideas....Please...

Have you tried the unify normal option form the normal modifier ?
Either that or flipping the Y channel in Max.
Next, Maya normal maps have the green channel flipped from what max expects, there is a switch in the max normal map node to invert this for you.
