Cobra hood and 3ds max morpher procedure

Hi guy's,

Currently making a Cobra snake and i was in the analytic phase on how would be the most logical way to do it.

I am not sure if i should model the snake with hood deployed or retracted for morpher to work accordingly.

If i model the hood deployed and i bring the model back in Mudbox i could use the scrape brush to make the hood retracted to use as a morph target.

Also UV would remain intact if the model is to be unwrap in the deployed position.

Any tips are welcome or suggestion.
