Rolling Ball Template Not Working

I'm trying to get the player sphere to roll forward. I have tried switching things, adding and removing. I've tried about four different templates to get the ball rolling and nothing works. One of them made the ball rotate but while going through the floor. The other one made the ball rotate in its side. The other one I forgot and the last one which I have now doesn't even let the ball move. I would like to know how can I fix this issue.
