I've been working on this for a while and plan to have a Game ready mesh with hair cards and fancy shaders at the end of the project. Looking for guidance and welcome all criticism.
Look's like you've got a handle on things, but I just wanted to share this tutorial : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtGEghClPsw which shows some techniques inside zbrush to make basically the same style of boot.
I still prefer to do that sort of thing in Maya as well, but different tools work for different people.
Also, it seems to me that you've bulked Ben Stiller up a bit. He's pretty fit, but I don't think he has quite so much volume, specifically in his arms and legs. Consider the size of his wrist and elbows. He's like a small dude with wiry muscles, but your model feels like a heavyweight boxer to me.
