This is the first time I have ever posted on polycount. So I thought I would share the character I made, I wish I made a full post about it here with work in progress shots but unfortunately that will have to be another project and not this one. I built this entire character from concept to even animations and now I am working on a 3D print ready version of him. If you want to check out the full project you can find my art station here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/2EaZv
Here is the WIP of the high poly sculpt in gif form. It is definitely the longest time I have spend making something in zbrush and I learnt a bunch from just doing this sort of work. For example compare the face mask from the start and end of the GIF; to start I just tried to sculpt everything but I found techniques to better produce those shapes.
*Disclaimer, this is not a final print just a render from zbrush I made presentable. Some people have made that mistake, so I thought I would say that here*
At the current time of posting this message I am working on making a statue of him. I already split him up into 24 pieces and I am getting a Anycubic Photon printer to print him on. There are problems at the moment like the fact the print size of the Photon is tiny and the stand won't fit in its current state. Everything else looks like it will fit though!
Thanks! the both of you Sorry I don't think I can post the marmoset viewer here. I tried to put it in the html section via the embedded code from the upload. But no luck, again I am new to polycount so I'm probably doing something wrong. That said the first render at the top is in Marmoset and I have two animations both in marmoset viewer on the art station page: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/2EaZv
